The Last Hurrah - Presenting our "Augmented Reality Instruments" Project

What a night it has been! It was incredible to see some of our colleagues' projects - all the different ideas that I saw were inspiring and eye-opening with the amount of breadth there was across board - most importantly, I believe every single one of those ideas will make an impact in music education, now and in the future. From singing vocal warm-ups to improvising on BLOCKS, to story telling to beatbox researching to informal learning, there is a bit of everything for you lot out there!

Check out the live stream which featured all the presentations during the night here!

It was great to present our project on onstage and demonstrate it to the audience - how it can be used now and how it could be developed in the future. With technology constantly evolving, "Augmented Reality Instruments" is an excellent form of informal learning for children, in and out of the classroom.

Caught some sneaky pics of our project in action!

"You don't have to be a violinist to play the violin." Its all about the experience and immersing yourself with the music.

Stayed tuned for what's next....
